Movie Poster

In 3rd quarter we had to choose a movie out of 3 we could decide from and turn it into a Saul Bass inspired movie poster.  While I was drawing the thumbnails, I decided to use Spider-Man because there are so many different ways you could turn it into a movie poster.  The way I did mine was I uses the Saul Bass font and then created his face.  I started with an oval and then used anchor points to make his face look a little more "face-like".  After I had the basic shape I made his eyes and the buildings which required the anchor points again.  Once I created all the outlines of everything I went into the details and created his web features on his face.  All I did was make an oval then shift+select and made it slightly bigger.  To make sure they were all the same length apart I used the rulers and put them evenly apart from each other.  To create the lights in the buildings I just made squares and option dragged them unevenly as Saul Bass would.  Overall, I'm pretty proud of how my poster turned out and how Saul Bass it ended up looking.  However, if I could change things, I would add a few more colors to make it "pop" more and to make it look a little more appealing.
